Sarah Kirkpatrick is the owner of Jumping Elephant, a boutique marketing agency in Calgary. Sarah’s venture helps small businesses with social media management, content creation, blogging, and websites as a complete digital marketing suite.
Being the owner of a Digital Marketing Agency, Sarah recognized the significance of being niche and targeting a set audience. Yet, for some reason, she couldn’t find a way to amalgamate that idea with her business.
Her association with Devesh and exposure to his active business coaching brought out different understandings and benefits for the business:

While Sarah wanted to explore some fractional aspects of her business, she wasn’t very sure of how that was possible. With Devesh, she explored the possibility of operating as a fractional CMO - “I am also a fractional CMO, and I work with 1-7 Million Dollar companies to help increase their return on marketing spend, get out of that marketing rut, and start seeing a rise and success in their companies again.”
Other than her niche business goals, Sarah also felt a gap between where she wanted her business to head and what she was doing currently - “I was having a hard time finding that purpose in the work that I was doing. I just felt a disconnect between myself and the company. I was having a hard time filling that gap.”
The Challenge of Flourishing while being Niche
Sarah admits that in order to grow, she felt the need to offer more and do more. With too much going on, after a point, it was neither being profitable nor developing into the venture that she wanted - “Before working with Devesh, I was definitely hitting a ceiling. As a self-taught entrepreneur, I had built a very successful business so far. But, now I was capped out on what I feel I could do on my own.”
Sarah added, “I was really looking for a solution for how I can bring everything that I’ve done into one clear solid message. And, make sure that I stood behind it as an owner, and that everything was lining up for my clients.”
